Projects

The Russian River Historical Society’s projects reflect our ongoing commitment to preserving, protecting, and presenting the rich history of the Russian River region. Through Artifact Preservation, we safeguard irreplaceable objects and documents that tell the stories of those who came before us, while our Cazadero History Learning Center provides a welcoming space for research, education, and discovery. We care for and honor the Guerneville Cemetery, preserving an important historical record of early community members. Our rotating Exhibits bring local history to life through thoughtfully curated displays, and our work with Historic Landmarks helps ensure that significant places throughout the Russian River area are documented, respected, and remembered for future generations.
